This type of bearing,comprising barrel-sharped convex rollers arranged at an angle with the axis,is self-alining due to spherical housing washer raceway. This type of bearing can carry great axial load,and also can accommodate a small amount of radial load as well as heavy axial load. But the magnitude of radial load should be not more than 55% of the axial load being carried.
